Introducing Eastern Orthodox Theology // Andrew Louth.

While browsing through the amazing collection of IVP Academic at the Wheaton Theology Conference, a particular book’s title intrigued me. “How is this book?” “I have only read a few chapters, but those few were amazing.” Sold.

So, now I ask myself, how is this book? It’s beautiful. The rich history of the Eastern Orthodox Church is deep and mystical. Andrew Louth does a fine job of summarizing and personalizing this family of theology in just under 160 pages. Numerous times, I was stunned by the sheer beauty of what, how, and why Eastern Orthodox believes. A definite recommendation.
