Reading the Epistle to the Hebrews // Edited by Eric F. Mason and Kevin B. McCruden.

To be honest, I did not finish this book. But I have read enough of the articles to give an honest review. Like most multi-authored and edited books, there are great and less-than-great articles. Some masterfully present an up-to-date, comprehensive Hebrews scholarship, others boldly venture cutting-edge worlds. So, if you are curious about the Book of Hebrews (as you should be — it’s a confusing book), then I recommend this resource, but be forewarned: it is academic.

However, the man is still at large — the author’s identity that is.
