The Alchemist // Paulo Coelho.

According to Coelho, there are few necessary ingredients to follow one’s “Personal Legend”: audacity, sacrifice, and curiosity. Santiago is a simple shepherd boy with a wild dream and even wilder journey. His voyage teaches and re-teaches us that the true treasure is actually embedded in the pursuit of treasure. The Alchemist is saturated with beautiful wisdom and sagacious proverbs — one would do well by digesting it openly and thoughtfully.

On a side note, though Paulo Coelho is Catholic, this books is very [in the reader’s personal opinion] “Schleiermachian” and possesses a very sacramental view of the visible realities of the invisible.
