I Believe in the Living God // Emil Brunner.

Emil Brunner is known for his accessibility and pedagogical rhetoric–compared to Karl Barth’s enthralling tenor. A brilliant homiletican of his own rights, Brunner walks down core lines of the Apostles’ Creed while highlighting key theological and pastoral claims. He has the unique gift of alluring his hearers (and readers) to the beauty of the simplicity of the gospel fully revealed in Jesus Christ’s life and works. His “God Became Man,” “The Living Lord,” and “I Am the Resurrection” are especially notable.
